Import Options

After importing your file, the importer will update and show a new form with two sections.

Global Table Settings

The first section is for global table settings. You can use this section to turn on/off key features including:

  • Paging
  • Column Ordering
  • Filtering

If you turn off the global column ordering and filtering option, no filter will display and no columns will be orderable.

Per Column Settings

The second section is for the settings relating to each imported column. The importer will have inferred the data type of each column based on the Excel sheet. If a data type is not correct, you can change it.

You can also change the name of the column at this stage, and decide whether each should be filterable or orderable, if you have the respective global settings turned on.

Create Table

Once you have chosen the desired global settings, and settings for each column, click the ‘Create’ button to create your table. You will then be redirected to the Table Editor to design the look and feel of your report.
